The bulk of undergraduate computing needs for Computer Science and Computer Engineering majors are met by the Prism facility located in Computer Science and Engineering Building (CSE). The Prism facility consists of a general purpose lab, a teaching lab, and several specialty labs. The majority of systems are running Linux.

Access to Prism from off-campus is provided either via an SSH client.

The Prism general use lab (CSE 1006) is equipped with 40 Linux workstations. The Teaching Labs (CSE1004A and B) are equipped with workstations running Linux and Windows.

The printers located in the Prism Lab allow students to print their jobs to a hold queue, they can select the jobs they wish to print using the touch screen at the print stations and the jobs are printed for them while they wait.
