FINAL EXAM INSTRUCTIONS
The final exam takes place tomorrow, April 8, 2008, from 7-10 PM. There are two parts to the exam: a written portion (in Curtis Lecture Halls E and F), and a lab portion (in the Prism lab in the CSE building).
Each part is 80 minutes long. There will be a 20 minute break between portions, to allow you to move from one room to the other.
Please note: During the first part of the exam, you will not be permitted to leave until 80 minutes have expired. However, you may leave early during the second part of the exam.
The class is divided as follows:
- If you normally wrote your labtests at 1 PM: You will do the labtest first; go to the Prism lab at 7 PM. Exception: All students with approved requests for extra time (via the disability center) will do the written test first (see next item).
- If you normally wrote your labtests at 7 PM, or you have an approved request for extra time: You will do the written test first; go to CLH E/F at 7 PM.

The marks of LabTest #2 are now on ePost. Additionally, an email has been sent to each student containing the submission and a feedback. If you believe there are errors in the marking of your labtest, then follow the procedure used for LabTest #1. Your reappraisal email (with Subject Line “Labtest2 Reap”) must be sent to your instructor by Friday, April 11. After this date your mark will be considered final.

- The subject line is: “Labtest1 Reap”
- You include what you received by email (i.e. your answer and the TA's feedback).

It has come to our attention that some of the marks posted Thursday on ePost were incorrect. Specifically, the written test marks (out of 100) were correct but some of the labtest marks (out of 20) were not. We have since corrected the problem and the marks posted now are correct. We apologize for this mistake and, moreover, we have worked with the registrar office to extend the drop deadline so those who wish to drop the course because their labtest marks were incorrect, can still do so, and those who have already dropped the course, again because of incorrect labtest marks, can re-enrol. If you fall in either of these groups then you must inform your instructor of your decision (to drop or re-enrol) by email by Thursday (March the 13th) at the latest.
