Signals and Systems
Description
This course presents key mathematical techniques used to study and manipulate continous and discrete signals and the design of systems which produce and process such signals. The techniques have wide application in industry to diverse areas such as computer vision, wireless communications and robotics. Specific applications to basic systems such as filters, mechanical vibration and feedback control systems are discussed in class. Lab activities including the use of tools such as Matlab reinforce the concepts.
