  * some folks have encountered problems with NullPointerException using ''SimpleDrawingCanvas'' - this reason concerns how the Windows OS manages Frames as opposed to Mac OS X.  Please use ''asst1services-v2.jar'' instead for an updated version of the code which works around this problem (see [[assignments:a1]]).  Also, ''SimpleImageServer'' has been modified so that the files are served up in alphabetic order. 
  * correction of typos in [[grades|Grades]] section and addition of dates to In Lab Assignments for clarification.
