====== Grades ======

The weight distribution of the course components is as follows:

  * 4 * %3 = 12% - Quizzes
  * 30% - Midterm
  * 3* 6% = 18% - Labs
  * 40% - Final Exam

Conversion from numeric to letter grade is applied to the overall mark only and in accordance with the following departmental standard:

== Missed Midterm and Quizzes ==

Missing a test will result in a score of zero -- unless the official York {{:attending_physician_statement.pdf|attending physician's statement}} is filled out. (with the official physician's statement, the weight of the exam/quizz will be added to that of the final exam.)
