03 | Jan 21 | Preparatory Lab Test 1: The lab will be in labtest mode for the duration of the lab session. Students will answer a lab test question with the help of the instructors (cooperation with other students is not allowed). 04 | Jan 28 | Lab Test 1: The lab will be in labtest mode for the duration of the lab session. Students will have to answer a lab test question with no help other than the textbook. This test will be 10% of the total mark in the course. Question Model Solution |

05 | Feb 4 | Lab Test 1 Redux: The same test as in Week 4 will be repeated. Students will be allowed to improve on last week's submission based on the feedback they have received. If you are satisfied with last week's submission, you are not required to be present for this lab. The improved submission will be 5% of the total mark in the course. | |||

READING WEEK | |||||
08 | Mar 4 | Students will need to submit a detailed description of the steps they plan to follow in solving the week's eChecks prior to the lab session. During the lab, they will receive feedback from the TA on their plan as well as any code they may have developed already. The description will be worth 1% of the total mark for the course. Successful eCheck submission by the Monday deadline will also be worth 1% of the total mark for the course. Students whose CSE account is an even number must report to CSEB 1006. Students whose CSE account is an odd number must report to CSEB 1002. Students that do not report for the Friday lab will not receive the 1% for the plan.
