== Why do you need WebFAS? ==
  * You can use MATLAB from home by remotely [[https://webfas.yorku.ca/Citrix/XenApp/auth/login.aspx|login to WebFAS]]
== How to access WebFAS from your home computer or laptop? ==
  * Using WebFAS requires an [[http://www.yorku.ca/computing/students/accounts/fas.html|FAS - File Access Service]] account.
  * If you haven't done so, you can active your FAS - File Access Service by using [[https://passportyork.yorku.ca/maya/maya|Manage My Services]]
  * Login to WebFAS at [[https://webfas.yorku.ca/Citrix/XenApp/auth/login.aspx|]] with your FAS account login name and password
    - If it is the first time you use WebFAS on your computer, you will be prompt to install a client (Citrix Online Plug-in). Follow the on screen instructions to complete the installation.
    - If you already have the client installed on your computer, you will see the list of applications on your browser. Click "matlabr2010a" to launch MATLAB.
