The weight distribution of the course components is as follows:
- 32% - Test #1 [a programming test in the Prism Lab]
- 32% - Test #2 [a programming test in the Prism Lab]
- 36% - Test #3 [a written test in a lecture hall]

Conversion from numeric to letter grade is applied to the overall mark only and in accordance with the following departmental standard:
