(April 12) EXAM INSTRUCTIONS
The exam will take place in two parts: a written part, and a labtest part.
IF YOUR CSE LOGIN IS IN cse00000 - cse13079 : You will do the labtest first. Go to CSE 1002/4/6 at 1:55 PM(NOTE SLIGHTLY EARLIER START TIME.) After the exam, your written test will be held in Lassonde lecture hall C (not B).
IF YOUR CSE LOGIN IS IN cse13080 - cse99999 : You will do the written test first. Go to Lassonde lecture hall B (not C) at 2:10 PM(NOTE SLIGHTLY LATER START TIME.)
The exam takes place from 2 PM to 5 PM on Sunday, April 15.
The exam will be in two parts: a written part, and a labtest part. The class will be divided: half will do the written part first, and the other half will do the labtest first. Halfway through the exam, everyone will switch and do the other part of the exam.
In the event of a CUPE strike, these plans may change. That situation is out of your instructors' control, and it is impossible to predict exactly what will happen in that case. If a strike occurs, please check here for further updates.
(Mar 11) Prof. Turpin's class is cancelled on Mar. 12 because he is ill. Prof. Eckford's class will proceed as normal.
(Mar 7) Marks for the written test are available via courseInfo. Type “courseInfo 1030” (Eckford's section) or “courseInfo 1030M” (Turpin's section) from a Prism prompt (note capital I in courseInfo).
(Mar 6) Labs are cancelled this week. Labs will be back to normal next week.
(Feb 28) Professor Turpin's 1030M class for Wednesday, February 29, 5:30 - 7:00, is cancelled. Students in section M should just go directly to the labtest. The labtest will start at 18:55, i.e. 5 minutes before 7 p.m. Go to either the 1006 lab or the 1004A lab.
(Feb 16)MIDTERM NEWS: The midterm has two parts, a written part and a labtest part:
The written part will take place from 5:30 to 7 PM on Monday, February 27, in room 109, Accolade West.
The labtest part will take place during your regular lab period on the week of February 27.
The test takes place during the time of Prof. Turpin's scheduled class (but in room 109, Accolade West). Prof. Eckford's class is cancelled on Monday, February 27 – just go to the test in the evening.
(Jan 24) Prof. Turpin's class on Jan 25 (Wednesday) is cancelled. (Prof. Eckford's class will proceed as usual.)
