(Apr 27) Grades have been sent by email (if you're not sure where it went, check your prism email).
(Mar 13) Quiz 2 is postponed to March 20. There will be no lecture on March 20.
(Mar 4) Graduate students (CSE 5431): Please submit a short (1-paragraph) research proposal for your survey paper by Tuesday, March 13. Your survey paper can either describe a mobile communications protocol (e.g., Bluetooth), or can describe current research on a mobile communications technology (e.g., MIMO). Your survey papers are due at the final exam: Monday, April 16.
(Mar 1) Lab cancelled on Friday March 2.
(Feb 3) Midterm postponed until Feb 16.
(Jan 25) Quiz 1 will now take place on Feb. 2. The quiz will be held in the last 30 minutes of class, from 6:15 PM to 6:45 PM. The quiz will consist of one of the problems from the problem set (verbatim). Graduate students are not required to write the quiz.
(Jan 25) Problem set 1 has been posted to the Documents page.
(Jan 16) Prof. Eckford is away this week. However, all lectures and labs will proceed as usual.
First meeting of the class is January 3, 2012.
Labs begin the week of January 9, 2012.

The required textbook is Mobile Communications, 2nd edition, by J. Schiller.
