**2012-Dec-30** Unofficial grades based on accumulative score as per the weightage defined on the [[grades|"Grades"]] tab are available at the [[grades|"Grades"]] tab. Please note that these grades are subject to the approval of the Faculty of Science & Engineering. 

**2012-Dec-12** Grades for HW3, Lab 4, and Lab 5 have been posted under the [[grades|"Grades"]] tab. Please contact the TA for collecting your submitted solutions.

**2012-Dec-09** Topics for the final exam are posted under the [[important_dates|"Important Dates and Exam Information"]] tab.

**2012-Dec-06** Please note that the due date for Lab 5 is Dec. 07, 2012 by 10:30 a.m. Lab 5 should be submitted electronically using the "submit" command.

**2012-Nov-27** Solutions to Assignment # 5 are now available under the [[assignments:a5|"Assignment # 5"]] tab. Quiz will be held on Nov. 27, 2012.

**2012-Nov-23** Please note the following correction in Problem 3 of Lab 5: Assume that the received sequence is 21 bits long as follows: 111 111 011 100 110 010 011.

**2012-Nov-21** Assignment # 5 is posted under the [[assignments:a5|"Assignment # 5"]] tab. I am not expecting you to submit a solution but a quiz will be held on Nov. 29 with the solution distributed on Nov. 27.

**2012-Nov-20** Lab 5: Designing a Voice Modem (Convolutional Codes) is now available under the [[textbook|"Labs"]] tab. Please review the lab before the coming lab session on Friday.

**2012-Nov-12** Hints for Assignment # 4 hav ebeen posted under the [[assignments:a4|"Assignment # 4"]] tab. I am also extending the deadline for submitting Assignment 2 to November 15. Also, Problem 4.12 is excluded from the assignment.

**2012-Sep-30** Submission Command for submitting lab reports:

submit 4214 Lab# <name of the directory or files to submit> where # is the lab number (e.g. Lab1).

**2012-Sep-17** Solutions to all problems of Assignment # 1 needs to be submitted except the "additional problem". We will cover the relevant background to cover the additional problem tomorrow in the class.

**2012-Sep-07** Instructor's office hours changed to 1:30 pm - 2:30 pm Tuesdays and Wednesdays to avoid scheduling conflict that students were facing with the lecture hours for CSE4312.
