====== What's New ====== == Major course updates will be logged here in reverse chronological order. == * 13 April 2015: If you will take the remediation make-up quiz on 15 April 2015, then be sure to study the notes for the quiz prior to attending; no lecture will be given, only the quiz. * 06 April 2015: Remediation for students who did not cross the picket lines during the CUPE3903 strike are as follows. * Lecture notes for the Computer Security lecture held on 11 March 2015 can be found at http://www.eecs.yorku.ca/~roumani/EECS1001.pdf. There is no quiz for this lecture. * Lecture notes for the Computer Vision lecture held on 25 March 2015, which replaced the originally scheduled Mobile Gaming lecture, can be found here. A make-up quiz for these notes will be held in 3033 LAS on Wednesday, 15 April 2015 at 16:00. You must send an e-mail to the course instructor by Monday, 13 April 2015, if you plan to take this make-up quiz. * To accommodate not having a quiz for the Computer Security lecture, the number of Markable Events (quizzes, assignment and outside of class activity) that must be passed to pass the course has been reduced from 8 to 7. Note that you still must also pass the final Essay to pass the course. * The due date for the Final Essay has been moved to 10 April 2015. * 19 March 2015: To accommodate the missed week in the winter term and the corresponding extension of the sessional dates, the due date for the Final Essay has been moved to 10 April 2015. * 18 March 2015: To accommodate not having a quiz on 11 March 2015, the number of Markable Events (quizzes, assignment and outside of class activity) that must be passed to pass the course has been reduced from 8 to 7.
