Grades

The weight distribution of the course components is as follows:

For each grading unit <m>i</m> you will receive a raw mark score (<m>s_i</m>), a max raw mark score (<m>m_i</m>) and a weight (<m>w_i</m>).

The final raw grade is calculated using the following formula:

<m>R = ∑_i((s_i * w_i)/m_i)</m>

Conversion from numeric to letter grade is applied to the final raw grade only and in accordance with the following departmental standard:

FEDD+CC+BB+AA+
<40>40>50>55>60>65>70>75>80>90
