+  * If you miss the deadline for assignments, a 20% penalty is applied for each day. After 5 days your grade will be automatically an F.
+  * If you miss the midterm test, your grade will be automatically F unless the official [[https://wiki.eecs.yorku.ca/course_archive/2015-16/W/3311/_media/attending_physician_statement.pdf|attending physician's statement]] is filled out and the physician certifies that you were unable to write due to illness at the time of the test. You must present the Physician's statement to the instructor the first lecture after the test or when you're back at school. Alternative arrangements for the test will then be made.
