  * The project is either a topic review, or a simulation project
  * The project is done in groups of 2
  * The topics include (but not limited to) ILP, cache coherence, GPU processing, interconnection networks, vector processing, warehouse computing ... If you have a specific topic in mind, please discuss it with me
  * The report is a paper 5-10 pages summarizing the topic you choose. The format of the paper will be discussed in the class.
  * Simulation projects are the simulation of some aspects of computer systems, that requires a working simulator and a report summarizing the simulator (keep in mind if you choose a simulator, think of the data that you will use as input to your simulator. Sometimes getting the data is harder than writing the simulator itself). Topics include
