====== Course Description ====== ====== Course Description ====== This course builds on the foundation in measurement techniques by developing the students’ understanding of the medical devices. This course applies the classical knowledge of electronic circuits and systems techniques to the development of electrophysiological sensing systems and other basic medical devices. Topics include the design, operation and applications of Electrocradiography (ECG), Electroencephalography (EEG), Electromyography (EMG) and Electrooculography (EOG) techniques as well as respiratory and blood circulation measurement devices. In each topic, students will learn the related theoretical and practical issues from both engineering and medical perspectives with a focus on needs assessment, creativity, and innovation as they seek to identify market opportunities. ====== Lectures ====== |Lecture 1|F at 4:30pm to 6pm, BRG 336| |Lecture 1|M at 9:30am to 11am, BRG 336| * Lecture Notes are in the private page " Document" ====== laboratory sessions ====== |Laboratory Session 1|F at 6pm to 7:30pm, BRG 336| |Laboratory Session 1|M at 11am to 12:30pm, BRG 336| * Lab Notes are in the private page " Document"
