The weight distribution of the course components is as follows:

  * 10% - Class participation
  * 20% - Two Assignments: basic concepts, principles, algorithms
  * 50% - Two lab projects: project one (20%) and project two (30%).
  * 20% - Self-study an advanced topic and presentation
