**Prelab files**

When you submit your files as prelabs activities, make sure they are ASCII files, i.e., only contains printable characters, otherwise they wont be appeared during the lab test session. To make sure your file contains only printable characters use "file" command in the Linux environment. If the file command reports the file is ASCII file your file be accessible during the lab test otherwise you don't have access to them.

Your midterm mark is adjusted by 5 marks based on possible marking errors. If you find problems up to 5 marks on your paper don't bother to come forward. We setup meeting time today from 1:00pm to 4:pm in LAS 2015 building on the second floor.

If you have written your midterm with pencil and you think your mark should be higher don't take back your midterm. You need to go to see the TA in person to discuss your mark.

**Midterm**

The midterm exam is held on Mon. Feb. 25 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. There is no lecture on Mon. 25. 

Questions are related to :

1. All covered topics. Check the course web site for covered topics.

2. All questions are problem solving problems similar to Quiz 1.

3. Some translating Java codes into RISK-V assembly.

4. You are allowed a non-programming calculator.

5. RISK-V green card is given.

6. Your not allowed to bring a cheat sheet. 

You may review practice questions at the of chapters 1, 2, and 3 (partially only related to 
covered topics).

**Makeup Labs Are Cancelled**

Due to the weather condition, both makeup labs on **Tue. Feb 12 and Wed. Feb. 13** are cancelled. Makeup labs are moved to Feb. 26 and 27. Consequently, labs K-N are moved by one week. Check Weakly Schedule later today for more info.

**Lectures/Labs**

If you need **in person help** for course materials, you need to go TAs office hours or my office hours on Tuesdays from 12:30pm to 12:15pm in LAS 2015 by appointment. Please see [[Home | the home page]].

The makeup lab session on Feb 12 and 13 is extended from 9:30am to 12:20pm. You can submit any **submitted lab** during makeup session. If you already submitted any lab or attended and saw  the corresponding lab question, your are not allowed to take that lab test again.

Due to weather condition, the lecture is cancelled.

Regarding this week labs, if campus is open in the morning of Tuesday Jan 29, lab sessions are held. You need to follow the lab manual to be prepared for the lab test. 

If the campus remains closed in the morning of Tuesday Jan 29, Wednesday labs will be cancelled as well.
