EECS 2311 Announcements

  • December 11, 2017: The lecture times for this course will involve working with your teammates on laptops. If you have a laptop, you should bring it to the lectures of EECS 2311, i.e. on Wednesdays. If you don't, you can check out a laptop from the lab monitor for the lecture time. Please allow time to do this before the lecture starts. The lab sessions will take place in LAS 1006, so a laptop is not required for the labs, but you are welcome to work on your laptop during the labs.
  • December 11, 2017: The lab session on January 8 will not take place. The course will start with the lecture on January 10.
  • August 8, 2017: This webpage was just created. Information will be added to it as it becomes available.

EECS 2311 Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of the course, students should be able to:

  • Describe the requirements of a large software system.
  • Select appropriate system elements for a high-level design description.
  • Derive and implement test cases at the unit and system level.
  • Produce a detailed user manual for an interactive system.
  • Implement a large software system from scratch.
