====== Plugins ======

Plugins provide a system for extending DokuWiki's features without the need to modify the original code.  

The purpose of this page is to provide details on what plugins we have installed, and how to use them.

===== Caveat =====

DokuWiki plugins are frequently written by users who are not part of the regular development team.  As a result, there is no guarantee that:

  * ... the plugin developer will assist us if the plugin does not work.
  * ... the plugin developer will not abandon the plugin.
  * ... plugins will continue to work across DokuWiki versions.

While there are quite a number of DokuWiki plugins available, the tech team will always try to balance the need for additional functionality with the need for a stable operating environment for our user community.  That being said, if there is additional functionality that you require in DokuWiki, please contact the tech team, and we will try to assist you.
