__Installing Software and Drivers__\\
This tutorial describes how to install Intel (Altera) Quartus Software, ModelSim, fpga 
Devices, related Drivers and to Verify your setup

The tutorial is specifically for **//Quartus version 20.1 and for Max 10 family//** of FPGA 
devices. You would have to alter the steps, if using a different version and device family.

__ModelSim Simulator__\\
This tutorial explains running **//ModelSim simulator//**, from within the Quartus project, to 
simulate and verify your Digital Design.

**__//Steps for MacOS//__** 
Running Quartus and ModelSim on MacOS is __Not__ natively supported. However there are few work-arounds, which have been tried and tested. \\ \\
Follow the steps in this {{:tutorial_macos.docx|document}} to correctly install and setup Quartus and Modelsim when using a MacOS computer.
