Two teams represented York at the 2016 regional programming contest. The first team (Joy Choi, Andrew Evdokimov and Ilia Jarikov) solved 5 problems and placed 20th out of 126 teams. Only 6 universities were able to solve more than five problems.
The second team (Muaawia Arshad, Minho Lee and Richmond Truong) also made a solid effort, solving 2 problems.
