(Mar 13, 2009)  The first contest of 2009 will be held on March 20 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. in CSEB 1006.

(Nov 4, 2008)  York's teams went to the regional competition in Hamilton on November 1.  It was a fairly difficult problem set this year, but both of our teams had a good showing:  out of the 124 teams competing, the York Yeomen (Marina, Robert and Tim) placed 27th and the Gnu Yorkers (Almaz, Chris and Trevor) placed 30th. (Oct 20, 2008) We have chosen the teams to represent York at this year's regional contest.  The team members are:  Almaz, Chris, Marina, Robert, Tim and Trevor.  They win an all-expenses-paid trip to Hamilton, Ontario for the contest.  Congratulations to them!

(Oct 20, 2008) There will be a contest on Wednesday, October 22 from 19:00 to 21:00.

(Oct 16, 2008) There will be a problem discussion session on Friday, Oct 17 from 16:30 to 18:00 in CSEB 3052.

(Oct 12, 2008) The sixth contest will be on Wednesday, October 15 from 19:00 to 21:00, in one of the first-floor labs.

(Oct 8, 2008) The fifth contest will be on Thursday, October 9 from 13:00 to 15:00 in CSEB 1004.

(Sep 29, 2008) The fourth contest will be on Friday, October 3 from 13:00 to 15:00 in CSEB 1004.

(Sep 20, 2008) The third contest will be on Thursday, September 25 from 19:00 to 21:00.  It will be held in CSEB 1006.

(Sep 19, 2008) The second contest will be on Friday, September 19 from 10:00 am to noon.  It will be held in CSEB 1004.
