Six students represented York at the regional competition in Hamilton on Oct 31, 2009. The senior team, consisting of Trevor Brown, Almaz Rakhmetov and Dmitri Shuralyov, solved six of the eight problems and came in sixth out of 113 teams. The junior team, consisting of Edgar Ghahramanyan, Stephen Leong and Albert VanderMeulen, solved two problems. See the contest scoreboard.
