  • Properties of Media and Digital Transmission Systems
  • Error Detection and Correction
  • Flow and Error Control
  • Medium Access Control (Aloha, CSMA, Scheduling)
  • LAN Protocols (Ethernet, Token Ring)
  • Connecting LANs
  • Network Layer and IP Protocol
