Wed June 3, 09

  • The marks of the exam (out of 100) and the overall (unofficial) letter grades are now on ePost. If you suspect errors in your grade, take one of the following actions depending on the type of error: If you see an arithmetic error (i.e. the component marks do not add up to the shown letter grade) then email me. On the other hand if you suspect an error in the marking of your exam then wait until the exams are in the Department Office (around the third week of June) and then request a copy of your exam from the Dept Office and, if needed, submit a petition to the Dept Office.

Wed May 20, 09

  • The solution of the CRT problem of Test#2 is posted in the Discussion Group.

Tue May 19, 09

  • The marks of Lab Test #2 are now on ePost. The papers will be available for pick up during the office hour (held in lieu of the lab) on Wed May 20 from 1 to 2 pm. The marks were distributed 34, 34, 32 with 5 of the marks of each question on the actual answer and the remaining marks on the code used to obtain the answer. See the Policies page for the procedure to follow in case there is a need to reappraise.

  • The Department will conduct its regular course evaluation during Mon May 4th lecture.

Wed Apr. 13, 09

  • The marks of Lab Test #1 are now on ePost. The papers were returned in class today. The marks were distributed 40, 40, 20 with 5 of the marks of each question on the actual answer and the remaining marks on the code used to obtain the answer.See the Policies page for the procedure to follow in case there is a need to reappraise.

  • The office hour for both today and next Monday has been moved to 2:30.

  • Note that all workstations will be in Linux mode during the test next week.

  • Check out the York programming contests. The first contest of the Winter term will take place on Friday March 20, 15:00-17:00 in CSEB 1006. Check out also this facebook group.
