The final exam will take place on Thursday, April 7 at 9:00 - 12:00. The first part of the exam (9:00 - 10:30) will be a written test in CSE C (the exam schedule mentions both CSE B and CSE C, but we will only use CSE C). The second part (10:30 - 12:00) will be a lab test in CSE 1006 and CSE 1002. For both parts of the exam, you will be able to use the textbook. No other aids will be allowed.

Presenting your thought processes in English is an important skill for a software professional. If you have trouble writing English, have somebody proof-read and correct your prose. You might find the services offered by The English as a Second Language Open Learning Centre useful.

The marks for the plan of eCheck 08D are now posted. Most students received the full 1% for their submission even though there were significant problems identified in the feedback. Unless these problems are fixed, future plans will receive a worse mark.

Feedback on your 08D plan was just sent to your account. A model solution has also been posted (click on Labs). It is only an example, there are many other plans that received perfect marks. It should give you a good idea of the level that the plan should be at, i.e. not very close to the code.

Feedback for Lab Test 2 was just sent to your account. The mark in the feedback file has been adjusted upwards by 2.5. The adjusted marks have been posted on the course website.

Here are some pointers for the first week:
- Please have a quick look at the course webpage for general information about the course. Follow and read all the links.
- The labs for the course do start in the first week. Remember to go to the lab on Friday!
- You will need a Prism (Computer Science) computer account for this course, not your Yorku account. Go to the lab in the Computer Science & Engineering Building (Room 1006, at the south end), sit in front of any terminal, type “newuser”, and follow the instructions.
