What is the difference between the LECT and ONCA sections?
EECS3000 in the winter term W26 will have two sections:
- Section M LECT
- Section O ONCA
ONCA: the course is online, with on-campus assessments and/or final exams. The classes of ONCA courses are delivered online. For W26, this means a learning format in which students do not meet together at the same time. Instead of a live lecture each week, course materials (like video lectures, readings, and assignments) are made available for students to access and complete within the course week. Students may complete the course materials on their own schedules within the week. The ONCA section has required on-campus assessments and/or examinations.
LECT: Scheduled class meetings each week, with live presentation and in-person discussions.
stay tuned … more content will appear here about the forms of assessments to be used in each section.
