-====== Subversion Server ======
-\\
-Subversion is an open-source revision control system. The department has a subversion server that can be used for your development. If you need a subversion repository, please contact tech.

-Once you have a repository, you can access it locally with subversion using one of these URLs:
-
-http://svn.eecs.yorku.ca/repos/<your-repository>
-
-- or -
-
-https://svn.eecs.yorku.ca/repos/<your-repository>
-
-As long as your subversion client provides https access, the https URL is preferred. You can only access your repository remotely using the https URL.
-
-You can configure your repository through the subversion web admin interface. Using the admin interface, you can add paths to your repository, and configure who has access to read and write to your repository (including anonymous read access, and the creation of external svn accounts).
-
-Your repository will be backed up nightly to your home directory to a directory called svn. Do not delete this directory as this is the only backup of your repository!
-
-You can access the subversion book here.
-
-You can read a quick start tutorial by one of our grad students here.
-
-If you have any questions, please contact tech.
