LAS1006 Eshrat Arjomandi (EA) Lab
Overview
The Eshrat Arjomandi (EA) Lab is a shared undergrad lab, with 78 desktops running only Linux OS system.
Lab Availability
The lab is available to students both during their scheduled lab hours and also when free desktops are available. Always check the posted Lab Schedule, outside the main entrance double-door.
The daily, weekly Lab Hours can be seen on the computer screen, at the entrance of the EA lab. These hours change as per the ongoing current school-term.
Lab Monitors Office
In addition, this lab contains 'The Lab Monitors office' from where students can borrow various kind of HW and Kits, for completing their labs, after showing their student ID. The borrowed Kits and Development Boards must be returned the same day by the students.

- EECS2021 Computer Organization.
- EECS2030 Advanced Object-Oriented Programming.
- EECS2031 Software Tools.
- EECS2032 Introduction to Embedded Systems.
- EECS3311 Software Design.
- EECS4413 Building e-Commerce Systems etc.
Equipment
The lab provides following equipment to students, for their labs:
- 78 Linux only, desktop stations with course specific application SW
- 2 overhead monitors and a desktop, for presentations by Professors and the TAs.
- 2 printers on network, for the students.
- The Lab Monitors Office, for borrowing Kits and Development Boards.
