JRET uses the following Java frameworks/libraries:

  • The Colt library, developed at the Centre Européen de Recherche Nucléaire (CERN) in Geneva , is a large library that provides a wide range of facilities for high performance scientific and technical computing in Java.
  • The Log4j framework is a fast and flexible framework for logging application debugging messages. Logging behavior can be controlled by editing a configuration file, without touching the application binary.
  • The JDSL is the Data Structures Library in Java. It is a collection of Java interfaces and classes that implement fundamental data structures and algorithms. JDSL is being developed at the Center for Geometric Computing, Department of Computer Science, Brown University. The development of JDSL has been supported in part by the Army Research Office and the National Science Foundation
  • The Apache Commons CLI library provides an API for parsing command line options passed to programs. It's also able to print help messages detailing the options available for a command line tool.

All these frameworks/libraries should be added to JVM class path.

JRET uses the following applications:

All listed applications should be run-time executable.
