* Dec. 17, 2007: Final grades have been posted under the Grades menu.

* Dec. 07, 2007: Quizzes 3 and 4 as well as the project marks have been updated.

* Dec. 06, 2007: The final exam does not cover Section 8.2 nor the assignment problems associated with the section.

* Nov. 27, 2007: Solution to Assignment 5 has been posted under the Assignment menu.

* Nov. 24, 2007: Assignment 5 has been posted under the Assignment menu. Quiz for assignment 5 will be held on Nov. 28. Solution to assignment 5 will be posted on Nov. 26. Please note that there is a Matlab exercise in assignment 5 whose solution and code must be submitted via Email (asif@cse.yorku.ca) by Nov. 28. The weightage of the Matlab exercise is equivalent to that of a quiz.

* Nov. 19, 2007: Solution to assignment 4 has been posted.

* Nov. 18, 2007: The date for the final exam has been finalized as Dec. 10. The final exam will be held in CSEB3033 from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Further instructions on the final exam will be posted under the final exam menu.

* Nov. 17, 2007: Paper presentations will be held on Dec. 3 in CSEB3033 from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. You will have access to a projector and power point for your presentation. Further instructions on the presentations are posted under the presentation menu.

* Nov. 13, 2007: Assignment 4 has been posted under the Assignment menu. Quiz for assignment 4 will be held on Nov. 21.

* Nov. 11, 2007: Results of the Midterm are posted under the Grades section.

* Oct. 31, 2007: A new menu “Presentation” has been created. It lists the papers that have been selected by the students for class presentations.

* Oct. 29, 2007: Assignment 3 along with the solution posted under the Assignment menu.

* Oct. 24, 2007: For selecting papers for presentations, please visit this URL for a list of papers in signal processing that have received the best IEEE paper award. You can select any paper that received an award after 1995 provided it has not been selected before. The papers can be seen by using the author search option in the IEEE explorer available at York's library. Please confirm your selection with me.

* Oct. 22, 2007: Copies of solution to Assignment 2 were distributed in the class.

* Oct. 15, 2007: Assignment 2 has been posted.

* Sep. 24, 2007: Solution to Quiz 1 has been posted under the Assignment tab. There were a couple of typos in the distributed version, which have been corrected.

* Sep. 21, 2007: Solution to Assignment 1 has been posted.

* Sep. 18, 2007: The deadline for submitting solutions to Assignment 1 is extended by 1 day to Sep. 19, 2007.

* Sep. 04, 2007: Assignment 1, which is a review of Probability and Signals and Systems, has been posted. A 15-minute Quiz based on Assignment 1 will be held in class on Sep. 24, 2007.
