Microsoft Imagine Premium
The Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science is enrolled in Microsoft Imagine Premium. Microsoft Imagine Premium puts professional developer tools and software in the hands of students, faculty, and staff.
What Software is Included?
Microsoft Imagine allows students, faculty, and staff to download a wide variety of Microsoft software for free educational use. Some examples of products that are available include:
- Microsoft Visual Studio
- Microsoft Visio
- Windows 10, Windows 8.1
- Many more!
What About Microsoft Office?
Microsoft Imagine does not include Microsoft Office. However, Office 365 Education is available freely to all currently active full and part-time York students, faculty, and staff. For more information on that offering, click here.
Who Can Use Imagine?
EECS students, faculty, and staff can access Imagine. Undergrad students must be enrolled in a course in the current term to login.
How Do I Access Imagine?
Click here to login to the EECS Microsoft Imagine web portal. You can use your EECS account, or your Passport York account.
What's the Catch?
Microsoft Imagine is only to be used for teaching, research, and other related classwork. It must not be used for administrative or commercial purposes.
