very rare request is for windows so the hosts have
to run security fixes once a request comes in.
Once a term we will refresh the security fixes if
no requests are made to place in windows mode

All hosts in the undergraduate and teaching lab can be turned on to labtest mode at any point in time
The default mode set for hosts is documented in /cs/local/share/pcmode/defaults. If a new host is added , this directory need to get updated by adding the hostname and the default mode. This change was added February 2009 to accommodate labtest scheduling
