(Mar 13, 2009) The first contest of 2009 will be held on March 20 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. in CSEB 1006.
(Nov 4, 2008) York's teams went to the regional competition in Hamilton on November 1. It was a fairly difficult problem set this year, but both of our teams had a good showing: out of the 124 teams competing, the York Yeomen (Marina, Robert and Tim) placed 27th and the Gnu Yorkers (Almaz, Chris and Trevor) placed 30th. Take a look at the problem set and standings. A few pictures (I hope more will be posted later):
(Oct 20, 2008) We have chosen the teams to represent York at this year's regional contest. The team members are: Almaz, Chris, Marina, Robert, Tim and Trevor. They win an all-expenses-paid trip to Hamilton, Ontario for the contest. Congratulations to them!

(Oct 12, 2008) The sixth contest will be on Wednesday, October 15 from 19:00 to 21:00, in one of the first-floor labs.
